Humans
The Humans were the first of the mortal races to arrive on Enlil from across the Starcut Sea. Arriving from the South, they settled the swamplands to be later called the Ebony-Mere. Home to an Unseelie clan, the Ebony-Mere proved to be a challenging place to live for the newcomers. The main difficulties were not with the Unseelie, but with the üruisig that continually attacked the new settlements.After one year of almost a dozen settlements being continually attacked, the humans all gathered into a single settlement to ease the burdens and work together to defend themselves. This settlement, Urukhag, still stands as the larges human city in Enlil.
The humans of modern Enlil are divided into two groups: the Lugal ruling caste and the Anzillu warrior-slave caste. The origins of the two date back to before their arrival in Enlil, and records of where they came from and why they left have been lost to history. The two live alongside each other, and at the same time apart from one another. Lugal rule the human city-states and the Anzillu serve as both guard and soldier.
Anzillu Racial Traits Humanoid (human)
- +2 Strength, +2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma: Anzillu have been bred to be strong and smart, but generations of oppression have left them meek and cowed.
- Medium: Anzillu are medium sized creatures and as such receive no modifiers based on size.
- Normal Speed: Anzillu have a base movement speed of 30 feet.
- Anzillu Ferocity: Once per day, when an Anzillu is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, they may continue to fight for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of their next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, they immediately fall unconscious and begin dying.
- Darkvision: Anzillu can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
- Keen Senses: Anzillu gain a +2 bonus to Perception checks.
- Weapon Familiarity: Anzillu are proficient with greataxes and falchions, and treat any weapon with the word "Anzillu" in its name as a martial weapon.
- Languages: Anzillu begin play speaking Human and Trade. Anzillu with high Intelligence can choose from the following: Alfar, Any Human Dialect, Dvergr, and Sidhe.
Lugal Racial Traits Humanoid (human)
- +2 One Ability Score: Lugal characters gain a +2 racial bonus to one ability score to reflect their varied nature.
- Medium: Lugal are medium sized creatures and as such receive no modifiers based on size.
- Normal Speed: Lugal have a base movement speed of 30 feet.
- Bonus Feat: Lugal receive an extra feat at 1st level.
- Skilled: Lugal gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
- Languages: Lugal begin play speaking Human and Trade. Anzillu with high Intelligence can choose any language they want.
